With this new model, we provide a rectangular swimming pool basin with a standard deep end hopper. This swim basin provides plenty of room for recreational swimming and play for you and the entire family. The Wylela Cove casually invites you to slow down from the busy week and enjoy time outdoors on its tanning ledge: perfect for basking in the warm summer rays. Lastly the Wylela Cove is spacious enough for smaller in-pool furniture by brands such as TenJam, you’ll have plenty of space to park one or two smaller loungers in order to enjoy the company of a family member or friend in your outdoor space.

Should the day require a warm soak to ease the tired muscles, the Wylela Cove includes an attached spa – adjacent to its tanning ledge. Small and economical the attached spa is capable of being heated to a comfortable degree with the utilization of a pool heater for year-round use.

The Lake Michigan – A Modern, Rectangular Layout

Welcome to the Lake Michigan fiberglass swimming pool! This fabulous layout is inspired by our team of fiberglass artisans – who love creating fun for our clients reinforced by quality! Our teams have received a lot of praise from our wide dealer base lately for the innovation coming out of our production plants.

What’s the hype? The new trend that we are seeing is the desire by the consumer for a modern layout with either a tanning ledge or beach entry design. Falling into this category, we decided to introduce the Lake Michigan fiberglass swimming pool.

Utilizing a Standard Hopper and Wide Tanning Ledge

Built upon a nice, modern rectangular layout – the Lake Michigan offers a standard hopper layout. Designed with a traditional shallow-to-deep end transition, the Lake Michigan is comfortable for those who enjoy a traditional layout. Additionally, this fiberglass pool offers the benefits of a wide shallow end tanning ledge – which is perfect for entertainment or relaxing outdoors.

Outfitted with a compact set of shallow end steps, the user can coast into the inviting waters of the Lake Michigan. With an overall length of only 26′ – the design transitions quickly from shallow to deep end.

As the afternoon heats up and you’re craving some cool water before refilling your adult beverage. Why not hop into the inviting waters of the 6′ 4″ deep end for some relaxing raft floating or vigorous exercise?

At San Juan Pools, we believe in constant creativity! Fresh from the assembly line, we are rolling out this new, cutting edge, free form design known as The Pond. Designed to provide flowing curves with extremely shallow water, this fiberglass shell creates a perfect Tanning Ledge space.

Given that most home owners are opting into cancelling their vacations (due to the COVID pandemic), many home owners want to maximize their at home capabilities. Rather than just build a swimming pool, consumers now want to create a total outdoor living space. This includes: outdoor kitchens, spas, tanning ledges, swimming pools, pergolas and rich landscaping. What better way to spend your vacation days than in your own backyard cherishing time with the ones you love most?

A Wide Tanning Ledge for Pool Furniture

We feel the same way at San Juan Pools, hence our desire to create a wide 119 SQFT tanning ledge. Perfectly sized for 2-3 bathers, the Pond is capable of easily holding multiple Ledge Loungers for optimal summer enjoyment. Additionally, this free form design provides the bathers with 1′ 6″ of water depth. This is enough water to keep your lower legs and waste cool in the warm summer heat of the Sunbelt.

Additionally, the Pond provides enough water depth to gently tuck away some nearly invisible LED Nicheless lights. This is a great way to illuminate this tanning ledge to turn it into a relaxing and attractive water feature for night time enjoyment!

Welcome to San Juan Pools and our One Stop Shop – or should we say One Chop Shop? What are we up to now? Well, we’ve dabbled in fiberglass pool construction since 1958, crafting handmade American manufactured fiberglass swimming pools for pool builders across the country. Creating a New Beach Entry Design!

From listening to our client feedback, our customers are loving our beach entry designs that we’ve introduced for the Clearwater Beach as well as the Huntington Beach. With such positive feedback, we’ve felt the drive to get back into the shed and craft another gorgeous fiberglass swimming pool that we’ve dubbed: The South Beach.

Taking two of our rock stars and blending them into one has been a task but one worth taking! Our fiberglass craftsmen did us a real favor by blending one of our crowd favorites (The Taj Mahal – now discontinued) with a new crowd pleaser: The Clearwater Beach. Both pools provide the swimmer with huge swimming basins and fabulous features due to their free form designs!

Now it’s time to create the best of both worlds. And why not? Who wouldn’t love a fabulous swimming pool basin mixed with a huge beach entry? This classification of fiberglass swimming pools offers a unique design that you won’t find elsewhere. Once installed, our beach entries create a seamless entry into your outdoor oasis. With a wide entry space that is just inches deep, your senses immediately relax as your transported to a different time and place. No longer as you relaxing in your backyard in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Instead you’re sitting in a serene lagoon at your favorite beach destination.

Rub on that suntan oil and bring your favorite book – it’s time for you to sit beach side for a little while and escape the daily grind. The Lake Superior – A Rectangular Pool with a Standard Hopper

The Lake Superior fiberglass swimming pool is an elegant & very large pool that holds up to 12,000 gallons. It includes a 6′ 3.75″ deep end within its rectangular frame. We classify this deep end as a standard hopper because it has a single and smooth transition from shallow to deep end.

The beauty of the rectangular shape is its classic design and universal features that fit nearly any backyard. You’re sure to enjoy the large swimming basin of the Lake Superior that provides 450 SQFT of surface area within its 30′ length & 15′ width.

Large Tanning Ledge & Corner Entry Steps

Upon entering the shallow end of the Lake Superior swimming pool you’ll notice the large tanning ledge that it offsets. This tanning ledge gives ways to a curved bench seating that flows around the ledge across the shallow end.

In addition, the shallow end also includes a set of entry steps that are adjacent to the Lake Superior’s tanning ledge. This is a bit of a Feng Shui and adds character to the design of the Lake Superior.

6′ 3.75″ Deep End & Dual Bench Seating

As stated above, the Lake Superior includes a standard hopper with a maximum depth of 6′ 3.75″. We recommend this swimming pool to families with intermediate to advanced swimmers due to the moderate deep end.

Your guests and swimmers are sure to enjoy the wide basin that this deep end provides as well as the comfortable bench seating. These dual sets of bench seating are located on opposite corners for plenty of seating space. This is a great feature that allows dual swimmers to enjoy the deep end with ample space to swim, rest and converse for hours of outdoor fun.

Large Swimming Pool That Holds 12,000 Gallon

Did we mention that the Lake Superior is a large fiberglass swimming pool? This pool is designed for backyards with plenty of outdoor space due to the 450 SQFT of surface area it will require just for the swimming pool.

Therefore, if you’re on the market for a large swimming basin that offers plenty of space for multiple swimmers – the Lake Superior may be just the ticket! From raft floating, ring diving, ledge tanning & lap swimming; the Lake Superior is designed for our active clients that want a big space for lots of swimming activities!

The Biloxi – A Flat Bottom Fiberglass Pool with 4′ 2.5″ Depth

The Biloxi is a fiberglass swimming pool that we designed to appeal to clients with modern design tastes. It’s the perfect option for medium sized backyards and home owners who are looking to entertain.

The Biloxi includes a flat bottom layout with a maximum depth of 4′ 2.5″. Its shallow waters make it a comfortable swimming pool for swimmers of all skill levels. In addition, its flat bottom layout provides the perfect space for lap swimming or a plethora of water games. Hop in for a round of basketball, volleyball, water tennis or just raft floating. This pool is designed to entertain and be a hub for fun!

Long Tanning Ledge and Wide Shallow End Steps

Upon first glance, you’ll notice the very wide set of entry steps that lead into the Biloxi. Next you’ll notice that the top step is extra wide – providing the perfect space for our 9″ deep tanning ledge. We designed this tanning ledge to be a comfortable space for a large gathering.

However you utilize this space, we are sure that you’re going to love the spacious seating arrangement. Lastly, you have the ability to dress it up with LED lighting for a stunning nighttime display!

Corner, L-Shape Bench Seating

Opposite of our long entry steps, we’ve included a L-Shaped Corner Bench seat. We designed this with an L-Shape because we wanted it to comfortably seat multiple swimmers. This is a great zone to relax after playing some water games or lap swimming. Additionally, you have the freedom to light it up at night with LED lighting to create an intimate space. Hop in for some fun conversation or to relax outdoors.

Perfect Pool for Lap Swimming & Water Games

As you might’ve already imagined, the Biloxi is a perfect contender for a miniature lap swimming pool. The rectangular design of the Biloxi gives the user plenty of space to stretch out. It’s also perfect to exercise before or after work.

The flat bottom layout of the Biloxi makes this swimming pool a perfect contender for outdoor water games. Your guest are going to love playing games without the hassle of a sloping bottom for their feet. Players can stand anywhere due to its flat depth of 4′ 2.5″ across the entire frame.

The Features of The Biloxi

In conclusion, the Biloxi is a fun and playful fiberglass swimming pool. It’s packed with lots of potential for fun pool games or brilliant LED lighting & water features. You can dress up this swimming pool as much as you want to make it truly your own.

The Desert Falls – A 6,800 Gallon Free Form Pool

The Desert Falls is a wild, free-form fiberglass swimming pool developed by San Juan Pools to closely resemble its sister pool: The Desert Springs. Similar to its sister model, the Desert Falls provides the swimmer with sweeping walls and a basic interior pool design. Aside from the similarity of the two models, they are quite different from one another.

For starters, the Desert Falls provides only one beach entry tanning ledge (while the Desert Springs includes three). Although this leaves less room for water features or lounging, it opens up the swim space for your guests to play and cool off. Secondly, the Desert Falls does not include an attached spa. We made this adjustment for the same reason: to maximize the swim space in this fiberglass swimming pool.

The Similarities: The Desert Falls versus Desert Springs

The key similarity between these two models, however, is their outward appearance. When looking from above, the two have almost identical footprints with the same depth, surface area and water volume. Therefore, you only question to ask yourself is: what pool provides you with the features you are looking for?

Attached Tanning Ledge With Multiple Uses

The beach entry tanning ledge of the Desert Falls is worth noting. This is a wide ledge that provides you with a great space to rest a Ledge Lounger (pool furniture) or install a brilliant water feature. Either way you utilize this space, a tanning ledge is a great option to extend your relaxation space outdoors. Tanning ledges enhance the overall beauty of your fiberglass swimming pool and can create stunning nighttime shows if paired with LED lighting!

6′ 1.25″ Deep End with Bench Seating

As stated above, the Desert Falls has the same exact deep end depth of 6′ 1.25″ as its Desert Springs sister. We’ve also included a comfortable swim out bench that is embedded in the curve of the deep end wall. This bench seating is a small space that can hold one swimmer and provide a location to rest between swim sessions.

The Features

In conclusion, the Desert Falls is a very popular pool model that provides the user with lots of versatility due to its free form design. It has an overall length of 28′ 9.75″ and a maximum depth of 6′ 1.25″. This pool is very popular for homes that have a moderate amount of space in their backyards. Requiring a total surface area of 295 SQFT and a total water volume of 6,800 gallons – we classify this pool as part of our Medium Sized fiberglass pool category.

Lastly, the Desert Falls utilizes as Standard Hopper which means it slopes gradually from shallow to deep end. We’ve included some comfortable seating opportunities: from the tanning ledge and deep end swim out bench. It’s a spacious pool because we’ve decreased the number of tanning ledges (only 1) and removed the spa – compared to the Desert Springs model. You’re sure to love the Desert Falls for all that it has to offer!

A Round Tanning Ledge with a 6′ Radius

At San Juan Pools, we strive to develop the best fiberglass swimming pools and spas available. In order to be the best, we need to have the widest selection to choose from. Therefore, we’ve developed *two tanning ledges that are great add-on features for many of our fiberglass swimming pools, including this Round Tanning Ledge!

The Round Ledge has a unique shape that is 10′ 6″ long by 6′ 4″ wide. It’s not a perfect circle, but rather an oblong layout. 

*In addition to this round design, we also offer our Scottsdale Tanning Ledge for clients who want a rectangular tanning ledge instead.

1′ Deep for Pool Furniture

Similar to our Scottsdale Tanning Ledge, the Round Tanning Ledge offers a 1′ deep basin. It includes a flat bottom design all the way across the ledge. This is a consistent depth that is perfect for pool furniture, such as a Ledge Lounger or other water approved furniture. 

For clients who want a well-rounded outdoor living space, this ledge extends your swim area for a comfortable seating space. You’ll especially enjoy being able to situate one or two chairs in this section for comfortable conversations and time with your loved ones. It’s also a fun space to sip your favorite drink and relax outdoors for some well deserved “me time.” 

Perfect for Raised, Spill Over Effect

The Round Tanning Ledge can be installed a few inches or feet above your fiberglass swimming pool. By elevating this tanning ledge above water level, you can create a unique spillover water effect. Allow the water to gently cascade over the tanning ledge and into your swimming pool basin. By doing so, you’ll create a relaxing oasis that trickles and relaxes the mind from its soothing sound effects.

The Scottsdale Tanning Ledge – A 1′ Deep Tanning Ledge

We’re proud to offer the Scottsdale Tanning Ledge as part of our wide fiberglass swimming pool and spa lineup! This gorgeous fiberglass shell creates a wide 80 SQFT tanning ledge that is only 1′ deep. It’s a terrific add-on feature that can be as simple or dynamic as you want it to be.

Spruce up this space with some brilliant LED lighting for a surreal water show at night. Not only can this tanning ledge be a great space to play with young swimmers; it can also dazzle your guests and create some stunning views in your own backyard, both day and night!

Add-On For Almost All Pool Models

As you might have guessed, we love selling the Scottsdale Tanning Ledge as an add-on to many of our fiberglass pool designs. Create a Raised Waterfall Feature

We highly recommend taking advantage of all that the Scottsdale Tanning Ledge has to offer. For example, this tanning ledge can be elevated above the surface of your pool water. By elevating this section, you can create a custom tanning ledge with a waterfall spillover effect. 

In addition, you can situate Ledge Lounger furniture or mounted bar stools inside of this rectangular tanning ledge. For added flare, we suggest installing a raised wall outside of the ledge. You can close in this section for a more intimate, private setting.

In addition, fire bowls can be set up on raised pedestals on both ends of the Scottsdale Tanning Ledge. In essence, you can create many variations of designs so that it’s a custom section designed for your own backyard space!
