From that popular model we transformed to develop the Wylela Beach series! Now, in the spirit of maximizing space and utility, we’ve combined key elements into one swimming pool. Here you’ll find our masterful combination of multiple pool elements. A rectangular swimming pool basin, standard pool hopper, spacious tanning ledge and attached spa create the perfect outdoor swim basin! We purpose this swimming pool design to be an all-encompassing design – built for the enjoyment of the entire family. The Wylela Cove is truly a year-round pool design! Capable of hosting all array of events in your beautiful outdoor living space, you’ll enjoy this pool all year long!

With this new model, we provide a rectangular swimming pool basin with a standard deep end hopper. This swim basin provides plenty of room for recreational swimming and play for you and the entire family. The Wylela Cove casually invites you to slow down from the busy week and enjoy time outdoors on its tanning ledge: perfect for basking in the warm summer rays. Lastly the Wylela Cove is spacious enough for smaller in-pool furniture by brands such as TenJam, you’ll have plenty of space to park one or two smaller loungers in order to enjoy the company of a family member or friend in your outdoor space.

Should the day require a warm soak to ease the tired muscles, the Wylela Cove includes an attached spa – adjacent to its tanning ledge. Small and economical the attached spa is capable of being heated to a comfortable degree with the utilization of a pool heater for year-round use.

The Manatee Shallow – A Large Kidney Shape with Modest Deep End

Ladies and gentlemen, please turn your eyes to follow the attractive curves of the Manatee Shallow pool! This San Juan Pool is part of our Kidney Shape classification and provides plenty of swim room for multiple swimmers. Coming in at a modest length of 32′, the Manatee is sure to fit snugly in a medium sized backyard. We suggest pairing it with a traditional brick or concrete pavers to create a breathtaking scene in your own backyard!

After you’ve taken enough time admiring the Manatee, it’s time to coast out into it’s beautiful blue waters. Here you’ll find plenty of room for fun water games and swim activities. Alas, when it’s time to rest and relax for the evening, we’ve installed plenty of bench seating in both the shallow and deep end. You’re sure to find plenty of eventful activities enjoy while coasting in the Manatee pool.

Perfect Pool for The Family

We admire the Manatee for it’s classic Kidney Shape design as well as it’s modest deep end. Reaching a total depth of only 6′, the Manatee is a great swimming pool for intermediate swimmers. It also works exceptionally well as a swimming pool for at home swim lessons.

We designed the Manatee to be a pool that promotes rest while not requiring a great deal of energy from the swimmer. For this reason, the Manatee pool is very popular for families with developing swimmers.

The Manatee pool is known in our industry as a “Kidney Shape” design. We’ve paired this classic kidney shape with a beautiful set of curved entry steps, located in the shallow end. Enter into it’s pristine waters and you’ll find a fun & modest deep end of only 6′. It’s a perfect pool for the San Juan Pools family and we’re sure you’ll love it too!

The Little Brother of The Manatee Deep

If you’re curious why we refer to this fiberglass pool as the Manatee, the reason is simple. It’s a little brother of our Manatee Deep fiberglass pool. This fiberglass pool shape is so popular that we’ve essentially developed it twice: with both a shallow and deep end.

Because of it’s high demand, we are constantly pulling more Manatee (shallow) & Mallow Deeps off of our production line and preparing them for shipment. This has been an exceptionally popular fiberglass pool for us and we’re proud to have it as part of our lineup!

The Barcelona – A Free Form Fiberglass Pool with Attached Spa & Tanning Ledge

Many of our clients are looking for ways to maximize their backyard experiences. What better way to enjoy the most of your backyard than to purchase a fiberglass pool & spa combo from San Juan Pools? The Barcelona offers our clients a complete outdoor living experience that you’re sure to enjoy with all the kids and grandkids.

Designed with a Free Form Layout, the Barcelona provides an overall swim space of 324 SQFT. Built on a 73 linear foot design and overall volume of 10,000 Gallons, we classify this pool / spa combo as a Medium Sized body of water.

We designed this fiberglass free form model to fit into most backyards by designing it with an overall length of only 27′ 3″ and width of 14′ 10.25″. That allows most of our clients who live in residential areas to take advantage of the Barcelona. If you live within a 40′ or 50′ lot line, you should easily be able to fit this gorgeous San Juan product in your backyard!

A Petite Spa That is Centrally Located

What better way to get the most out of your new swimming basin than to include a radius fiberglass spa right in the middle of the Barcelona? Designed with an approximate perimeter of 24′, our fiberglass spa provides ample seating for 3-4 swimmers to enjoy at a time.

Additionally, with the technological advances of today, it’s possible for you to heat our fiberglass spa with either a natural gas or propane heater. This allows our clients to turn up the heat to extend their swimming season from the standard months of May – September to also include early Spring or late Fall. By installing an automation system with The Barcelona, you can login to the corresponding smart phone app and heat your radius spa while out to dinner with your spouse – so it’s warm and bubbly when you return home that evening!

The Desert Falls – A 6,800 Gallon Free Form Pool

The Desert Falls is a wild, free-form fiberglass swimming pool developed by San Juan Pools to closely resemble its sister pool: The Desert Springs. Similar to its sister model, the Desert Falls provides the swimmer with sweeping walls and a basic interior pool design. Aside from the similarity of the two models, they are quite different from one another.

For starters, the Desert Falls provides only one beach entry tanning ledge (while the Desert Springs includes three). Although this leaves less room for water features or lounging, it opens up the swim space for your guests to play and cool off. Secondly, the Desert Falls does not include an attached spa. We made this adjustment for the same reason: to maximize the swim space in this fiberglass swimming pool.

The Similarities: The Desert Falls versus Desert Springs

The key similarity between these two models, however, is their outward appearance. When looking from above, the two have almost identical footprints with the same depth, surface area and water volume. Therefore, you only question to ask yourself is: what pool provides you with the features you are looking for?

Attached Tanning Ledge With Multiple Uses

The beach entry tanning ledge of the Desert Falls is worth noting. This is a wide ledge that provides you with a great space to rest a Ledge Lounger (pool furniture) or install a brilliant water feature. Either way you utilize this space, a tanning ledge is a great option to extend your relaxation space outdoors. Tanning ledges enhance the overall beauty of your fiberglass swimming pool and can create stunning nighttime shows if paired with LED lighting!

6′ 1.25″ Deep End with Bench Seating

As stated above, the Desert Falls has the same exact deep end depth of 6′ 1.25″ as its Desert Springs sister. We’ve also included a comfortable swim out bench that is embedded in the curve of the deep end wall. This bench seating is a small space that can hold one swimmer and provide a location to rest between swim sessions.

The Desert Falls is a fun and lavish fiberglass swimming pool with a wild free form pool shape. It sports a 6′ 1.25″ deep end and a standard hopper with a gradual slope from the shallow end. As seen in this image, the shallow end includes a wide beach entry (shown here with two bubblers).

In conclusion, the Desert Falls is a very popular pool model that provides the user with lots of versatility due to its free form design. It has an overall length of 28′ 9.75″ and a maximum depth of 6′ 1.25″. This pool is very popular for homes that have a moderate amount of space in their backyards. Requiring a total surface area of 295 SQFT and a total water volume of 6,800 gallons – we classify this pool as part of our Medium Sized fiberglass pool category.

Lastly, the Desert Falls utilizes as Standard Hopper which means it slopes gradually from shallow to deep end. We’ve included some comfortable seating opportunities: from the tanning ledge and deep end swim out bench. It’s a spacious pool because we’ve decreased the number of tanning ledges (only 1) and removed the spa – compared to the Desert Springs model. In essence, the Costa Azul is a swimming pool designed for plenty of play! What was our inspiration for this design? Well, we believe that all of our fiberglass pools and spas should be perfect places for escape. Therefore, following this design process, we created this pool as a “lagoon” layout with varying depths and constant curves.

It’s perfect for reading a book, sipping your favorite drink or even just relaxing on a Ledge Lounger.

Free Form Shape with 5′ 6″ Deep End

Striking out from the beautiful tanning ledge, you can coast as deep as 5′ 6″ in the Costa Azul. We designed this pool to be relatively shallow which makes it perfect for intermediate level swimmers. In addition, we’ve included a deep end swim out bench along the deep end wall. This is a great space to rest between water games or works as another entry/exit point into this free form design.

8,000 Gallons with Plenty of Room

Although the Costa Azul only holds 8,000 gallons, its free form design makes it feel much larger than it really is. That’s one of the fun aspects of this free form pool shape.

One amazing benefit of only holding 8,000 gallons is the easy chemical maintenance you’ll get to enjoy. In nerdy pool terms, 8,000 gallons only requires 16.67 gallons/minute for a complete 8-hour water turnover. This allows you to purchase a variable speed pump and save some on your monthly electricity usage!

Flat Bottom Design and 33′ Length

In addition to our spa / no spa options – we also offer some other great features to the Marathon (No Spa) model. For starters, this gorgeous lap swimming pool includes a 4′ 9″ flat bottom design. That means that there is no deep end and it has a consistent depth all the way across this pool.

In addition the Marathon has a total length of 33′ and a width of 7′ 9″. This provides plenty of room for dual swimmers or a wide space for a single user. Either way, we’ve designed this pool to represent your classic swim lane for both comfort and familiarity.

Dual Entry Steps with Dual Bench Seating

One additional feature we’d like to point out is the Dual Entry Steps & Dual Bench Seating of the Marathon (No Spa). Our steps & bench seating is parallel, yet opposite. Therefore, the steps are on opposite corners while the benches are opposite as well. It’s a unique design approach that adds a modern twist to the standard rectangular layout of this pool.
