A Round Tanning Ledge with a 6′ Radius

At San Juan Pools, we strive to develop the best fiberglass swimming pools and spas available. In order to be the best, we need to have the widest selection to choose from. Therefore, we’ve developed *two tanning ledges that are great add-on features for many of our fiberglass swimming pools, including this Round Tanning Ledge!

The Round Ledge has a unique shape that is 10′ 6″ long by 6′ 4″ wide. It’s not a perfect circle, but rather an oblong layout. 

*In addition to this round design, we also offer our Scottsdale Tanning Ledge for clients who want a rectangular tanning ledge instead.

1′ Deep for Pool Furniture

Similar to our Scottsdale Tanning Ledge, the Round Tanning Ledge offers a 1′ deep basin. It includes a flat bottom design all the way across the ledge. This is a consistent depth that is perfect for pool furniture, such as a Ledge Lounger or other water approved furniture. 

For clients who want a well-rounded outdoor living space, this ledge extends your swim area for a comfortable seating space. You’ll especially enjoy being able to situate one or two chairs in this section for comfortable conversations and time with your loved ones. It’s also a fun space to sip your favorite drink and relax outdoors for some well deserved “me time.” 

Perfect for Raised, Spill Over Effect

The Round Tanning Ledge can be installed a few inches or feet above your fiberglass swimming pool. By elevating this tanning ledge above water level, you can create a unique spillover water effect. Allow the water to gently cascade over the tanning ledge and into your swimming pool basin. By doing so, you’ll create a relaxing oasis that trickles and relaxes the mind from its soothing sound effects.

The Scottsdale Tanning Ledge – A 1′ Deep Tanning Ledge

We’re proud to offer the Scottsdale Tanning Ledge as part of our wide fiberglass swimming pool and spa lineup! This gorgeous fiberglass shell creates a wide 80 SQFT tanning ledge that is only 1′ deep. It’s a terrific add-on feature that can be as simple or dynamic as you want it to be.

Spruce up this space with some brilliant LED lighting for a surreal water show at night. Not only can this tanning ledge be a great space to play with young swimmers; it can also dazzle your guests and create some stunning views in your own backyard, both day and night!

Add-On For Almost All Pool Models

As you might have guessed, we love selling the Scottsdale Tanning Ledge as an add-on to many of our fiberglass pool designs. Create a Raised Waterfall Feature

We highly recommend taking advantage of all that the Scottsdale Tanning Ledge has to offer. For example, this tanning ledge can be elevated above the surface of your pool water. By elevating this section, you can create a custom tanning ledge with a waterfall spillover effect. 

In addition, you can situate Ledge Lounger furniture or mounted bar stools inside of this rectangular tanning ledge. For added flare, we suggest installing a raised wall outside of the ledge. You can close in this section for a more intimate, private setting.

In addition, fire bowls can be set up on raised pedestals on both ends of the Scottsdale Tanning Ledge. In essence, you can create many variations of designs so that it’s a custom section designed for your own backyard space!

The Wylela Beach Grande – A Wide Beach Entry

Since the introduction of our first Beach Entry fiberglass swimming pools, San Juan has received tremendous feedback from our consumers! They love the ability to enjoy sunbathing in their Ledge Loungers, play with their kids in the shallow waters and enjoy getting their feet wet on a warm summer morning. Staying true to our trend of developing cutting edge fiberglass pool designs, San Juan decided to take one of our most popular models (The Wylela Beach) and give it something “grander.” Taking the identical length & depth profiles, we extended the width of this pool design to give it an additional four feet. With a 6′ long beach entry, this provides an additional 24 SQFT of tanning ledge space for additional seating and playtime availability!

For us to maintain the popularity of this model, we retained popular features from the Wylela & Wylela Beach. For example, we included a convenient bench seating across the length of the pool. This improves the overall safety and comfortability of this pool model.

A rectangular swimming pool basin, standard pool hopper, spacious tanning ledge and attached spa create the perfect outdoor swim basin! We purpose this swimming pool design to be an all-encompassing design – built for the enjoyment of the entire family. The Wylela Cove is truly a year-round pool design! Capable of hosting all array of events in your beautiful outdoor living space, you’ll enjoy this pool all year long!

With this new model, we provide a rectangular swimming pool basin with a standard deep end hopper. This swim basin provides plenty of room for recreational swimming and play for you and the entire family. The Wylela Cove casually invites you to slow down from the busy week and enjoy time outdoors on its tanning ledge: perfect for basking in the warm summer rays. Lastly the Wylela Cove is spacious enough for smaller in-pool furniture by brands such as TenJam, you’ll have plenty of space to park one or two smaller loungers in order to enjoy the company of a family member or friend in your outdoor space.

Should the day require a warm soak to ease the tired muscles, the Wylela Cove includes an attached spa – adjacent to its tanning ledge. Small and economical the attached spa is capable of being heated to a comfortable degree with the utilization of a pool heater for year-round use.
