The Barcelona – A Free Form Fiberglass Pool with Attached Spa & Tanning Ledge

Many of our clients are looking for ways to maximize their backyard experiences. What better way to enjoy the most of your backyard than to purchase a fiberglass pool & spa combo from San Juan Pools? The Barcelona offers our clients a complete outdoor living experience that you’re sure to enjoy with all the kids and grandkids.

Designed with a Free Form Layout, the Barcelona provides an overall swim space of 324 SQFT. Built on a 73 linear foot design and overall volume of 10,000 Gallons, we classify this pool / spa combo as a Medium Sized body of water.

We designed this fiberglass free form model to fit into most backyards by designing it with an overall length of only 27′ 3″ and width of 14′ 10.25″. That allows most of our clients who live in residential areas to take advantage of the Barcelona. If you live within a 40′ or 50′ lot line, you should easily be able to fit this gorgeous San Juan product in your backyard!

A Petite Spa That is Centrally Located

What better way to get the most out of your new swimming basin than to include a radius fiberglass spa right in the middle of the Barcelona? Designed with an approximate perimeter of 24′, our fiberglass spa provides ample seating for 3-4 swimmers to enjoy at a time.

Additionally, with the technological advances of today, it’s possible for you to heat our fiberglass spa with either a natural gas or propane heater. This allows our clients to turn up the heat to extend their swimming season from the standard months of May – September to also include early Spring or late Fall. By installing an automation system with The Barcelona, you can login to the corresponding smart phone app and heat your radius spa while out to dinner with your spouse – so it’s warm and bubbly when you return home that evening!

Lastly, we recommend lighting your pool & radius spa with some nicheless LED lights for a beautiful lighting effect. Illuminate your outdoor pool and spa with color changing lights to brilliant lights shows or soothing colors to maximize your enjoyment of The Barcelona.

The Biloxi – A Flat Bottom Fiberglass Pool with 4′ 2.5″ Depth

The Biloxi is a fiberglass swimming pool that we designed to appeal to clients with modern design tastes. It’s the perfect option for medium sized backyards and home owners who are looking to entertain.

The Biloxi includes a flat bottom layout with a maximum depth of 4′ 2.5″. Its shallow waters make it a comfortable swimming pool for swimmers of all skill levels. In addition, its flat bottom layout provides the perfect space for lap swimming or a plethora of water games. Hop in for a round of basketball, volleyball, water tennis or just raft floating. This pool is designed to entertain and be a hub for fun!

Long Tanning Ledge and Wide Shallow End Steps

Upon first glance, you’ll notice the very wide set of entry steps that lead into the Biloxi. Next you’ll notice that the top step is extra wide – providing the perfect space for our 9″ deep tanning ledge. We designed this tanning ledge to be a comfortable space for a large gathering.

However you utilize this space, we are sure that you’re going to love the spacious seating arrangement. Lastly, you have the ability to dress it up with LED lighting for a stunning nighttime display!

Corner, L-Shape Bench Seating

Opposite of our long entry steps, we’ve included a L-Shaped Corner Bench seat. We designed this with an L-Shape because we wanted it to comfortably seat multiple swimmers. This is a great zone to relax after playing some water games or lap swimming. Additionally, you have the freedom to light it up at night with LED lighting to create an intimate space. Hop in for some fun conversation or to relax outdoors.

The Biloxi – A Flat Bottom Fiberglass Pool with 4′ 2.5″ Depth

Perfect Pool for Lap Swimming & Water Games

As you might’ve already imagined, the Biloxi is a perfect contender for a miniature lap swimming pool. The rectangular design of the Biloxi gives the user plenty of space to stretch out. It’s also perfect to exercise before or after work.

The flat bottom layout of the Biloxi makes this swimming pool a perfect contender for outdoor water games. Your guest are going to love playing games without the hassle of a sloping bottom for their feet. Players can stand anywhere due to its flat depth of 4′ 2.5″ across the entire frame.

The Desert Falls – A 6,800 Gallon Free Form Pool

The Desert Falls is a wild, free-form fiberglass swimming pool developed by San Juan Pools to closely resemble its sister pool: The Desert Springs. Similar to its sister model, the Desert Falls provides the swimmer with sweeping walls and a basic interior pool design. Aside from the similarity of the two models, they are quite different from one another.

For starters, the Desert Falls provides only one beach entry tanning ledge (while the Desert Springs includes three). Although this leaves less room for water features or lounging, it opens up the swim space for your guests to play and cool off. Secondly, the Desert Falls does not include an attached spa. We made this adjustment for the same reason: to maximize the swim space in this fiberglass swimming pool.

The Similarities: The Desert Falls versus Desert Springs

The key similarity between these two models, however, is their outward appearance. When looking from above, the two have almost identical footprints with the same depth, surface area and water volume. Therefore, you only question to ask yourself is: what pool provides you with the features you are looking for?

Attached Tanning Ledge With Multiple Uses

The beach entry tanning ledge of the Desert Falls is worth noting. This is a wide ledge that provides you with a great space to rest a Ledge Lounger (pool furniture) or install a brilliant water feature. Either way you utilize this space, a tanning ledge is a great option to extend your relaxation space outdoors. Tanning ledges enhance the overall beauty of your fiberglass swimming pool and can create stunning nighttime shows if paired with LED lighting!

6′ 1.25″ Deep End with Bench Seating

As stated above, the Desert Falls has the same exact deep end depth of 6′ 1.25″ as its Desert Springs sister. We’ve also included a comfortable swim out bench that is embedded in the curve of the deep end wall. This bench seating is a small space that can hold one swimmer and provide a location to rest between swim sessions.

The Desert Falls is a fun and lavish fiberglass swimming pool with a wild free form pool shape. It sports a 6′ 1.25″ deep end and a standard hopper with a gradual slope from the shallow end. As seen in this image, the shallow end includes a wide beach entry (shown here with two bubblers).

The Features

In conclusion, the Desert Falls is a very popular pool model that provides the user with lots of versatility due to its free form design. It has an overall length of 28′ 9.75″ and a maximum depth of 6′ 1.25″. This pool is very popular for homes that have a moderate amount of space in their backyards. Requiring a total surface area of 295 SQFT and a total water volume of 6,800 gallons – we classify this pool as part of our Medium Sized fiberglass pool category.

Lastly, the Desert Falls utilizes as Standard Hopper which means it slopes gradually from shallow to deep end. We’ve included some comfortable seating opportunities: from the tanning ledge and deep end swim out bench. It’s a spacious pool because we’ve decreased the number of tanning ledges (only 1) and removed the spa – compared to the Desert Springs model. The Hawaiian – Living on Island Time

Isn’t it time for us to return back to the simple roots of childhood? Those were the good old days! We longed for the hot days of summer and the opportunity to spend hours in the sun. At San Juan Pools, we’re pretty nostalgic. We help you relive your childhood with the introduction of the Hawaiian fiberglass pool!

This beautiful swimming pool is designed with a simple and basic swimming model in mind. We present you with a 27′ 11″ long swimming pool that stretches 11′ 9″ wide. The concept here is swimming! It’s a medium-sized body of water that leaves plenty of room for swimming. It’s tempting to venture out into the deep end for a nice dip and then a calm return to the shallow end steps.

The Hawaiian is a fun twist on a standard Grecian pool shape. We open up this swimming pool to a wide set of shallow entry steps. These steps lead to a playful 6′ 1″ deep end and a dual set of ledge seats. It’s a comfortable swimming pool that brings simplicity and fun to the home!

The Features of The Hawaiian

As we mentioned above, the Hawaiian is a Grecian pool shape based on a simplistic pool design. Grecian swimming pools are essential rectangles with extended ends; typically the ends are perfect locations for steps or deep ends.

The Hawaiian is very similar to the Caesar’s Palace or the Dolphin. However, rather than provide shallow end entry steps on both ends, the Hawaiian packs a conservative 6′ 1″ deep end. Secondly, we add in a convenient set of dual deep-end benches. This provides a comfortable area to rest between deep-end swim sessions. Although not deep enough for diving, this is a perfect space for pool games and ring diving.

Welcome to the Lake Michigan fiberglass swimming pool! This fabulous layout is inspired by our team of fiberglass artisans – who love creating fun for our clients reinforced by quality! Our teams have received a lot of praise from our wide dealer base lately for the innovation coming out of our production plants.

What’s the hype? The new trend that we are seeing is the desire by the consumer for a modern layout with either a tanning ledge or beach entry design. Falling into this category, we decided to introduce the Lake Michigan fiberglass swimming pool.

Utilizing a Standard Hopper and Wide Tanning Ledge

Built upon a nice, modern rectangular layout – the Lake Michigan offers a standard hopper layout. The Orlando – Designed for Physical Therapy

As you can probably guess from our image (above) The Orlando is renowned for its ability to operate as a Physical Therapy pool. In fact, prior to renaming this model “The Orlando”, San Juan Pools previously referred to it as the “Physical Therapy” pool.

That being said, this pool is designed primary for physical therapy use; due to its layouts and some key features, such as:

Rectangular Design

If you have some sore muscles, joints or bones and need regular water therapy for relaxation and gentle movement; the Orlando is perfect for you!

Flat Bottom Design with 4′ 2″ Depth

What are the benefits of a flat bottom design? Well, for starters there is not deep end to worry about. For senior adults or those with physical therapy needs, this is a plus. Secondly, utilizing The Orlando with an even depth allows you to enjoy a consistent workout regardless of which end you find yourself on.

Many of our clients prefer flat bottom pools and the Orlando is especially unique because of its shallow depth of only 4′ 2″. This is truly a shallow pool that allows the user to focus more on physical movement than lap swimming.

The Orlando is better known as our “physical therapy” pool because of some key elements. For starters, this swimming pool includes a flat bottom design with a maximum depth of only 4′ 2″. Secondly, this pool model has a comfortable set of corner entry steps and bench seating. Essentially, this pool is designed for modest usage, water aerobics and ease of entry and exit.

Smaller Pool with only 6,750 Gallons

In addition to its shallow design, the Orlando is extremely easy to care for because of its limited water volume. Able to hold only 6,750 gallons, we classify the Orlando as a small sized swimming pool. You’ll be able to enjoy your time in this pool with little chemical hassle.

In order to enter and exit this model, we’ve included a long set of corner entry steps. We recommend pairing these corner steps with a handrail for added security. Our goal here is safety and health. Therefore, as you complete your workout, we’ve included a comfortable bench for rest. This bench is a great space to catch your breath before continuing your physical therapy and sculpting that rockin’ body!

The Pompano Beach – Our Fun Twist on a Roman Pool Shape

San Juan Pools has done it again! This time with a redesign on a classic Roman Pool Shape. By design, roman pool shapes are intended to have a rectangular shape with curved ends. Often roman shapes utilize a mixture of standard hoppers or Sport Bottom Hoppers (deep end in the middle). We offer variations of both layouts as part of our wide offering of 80+ Pool & Spa Shapes. For a great example of what a classic roman pool shape looks like, we invite you to check out the Caesar’s Palace! Now, getting back to the Pompano Beach.
