Veterans Program 2009
In 2009, San Juan Pools proudly contributed to the Northeast Veteran Training and Rehab Center (NVTRC) project by installing the custom indoor Cyberlane therapy pool located in the main rehabilitation facility. Part of the Seabees Veteran Project, this pool became a vital component of the center’s cutting-edge physical therapy services.
Located on 10 acres at Mount Wachusett Community College, the NVTRC provides accessible housing and recovery services for up to 20 veterans and their families—or 60 single veterans—at a time. Each unit offers privacy and support while veterans regain their independence. The rehab center includes a range of therapy and wellness amenities, including the San Juan-installed pool, which plays a key role in low-impact rehab and fitness programs.
San Juan Pools is honored to be part of a LEED Gold Certified project that supports those who have served, offering free, life-changing care in a sustainable, thoughtfully designed environment.
